What I want to know is who-the-heck calls the bride or groom on their WEDDING DAY?!!? Really?? People even call to get directions!

When they belong to the bride and groom, getting them to be interested (never mind stand still!) in the family photo portion of the day after they have had to sit patiently for the ceremony… usually doesn’t go well, but is important.

Now, I try and be a rather creative photographer and trouble shoot throughout your entire wedding day about not only my own photography related “issues”, but any wedding day issues to try and help the day go well for everyone. There was nothing working for this kid. None of my tricks. We moved on.

Something you will notice if you shoot with me (and those of you who have usually comment on it) – I shoot with both eyes open and my left eye always scanning around me. This came in very handy when I noticed the Little Man coming running around the side of the Chapel towards us, following a path we were standing on.

“EVERYONE, look at me and keep smiling!!!”

See… I knew I could get him in the family photos. ;) I have kids and the idea that this was how their son would be represented in their wedding day family photos seemed very appropriate to me. :)
